OUR SAFETY IS GUARANTEED
Men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
We are living in a day where there is so much opportunity for us to feel unsafe and not secure. There is fear within, and there is fear without; there is fear everywhere.
“men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.” (Luke 21:26)
Kids do not play outside anymore. We no longer can feel comfortable going out around other people and need to stay inside our houses. Life has changed. Now, as a Believer, what should our response be, despite all these changes?
“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” (Psalm 23:4)
God prepares a table before us in the presence of our enemies, not in their absence. In other words, we do not have to care about what the enemy sends against us; the adversary is not a factor. Glory to God!
“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.” (Psalm 23:5)
It does not matter whether there is evil everywhere; we dwell in the secret place of the most High if we have made Jesus Lord of our life. Therefore, we are untouchable. No wonder the Bible says that a 1,000 may fall at my side and 10,000 on my right hand, but it shall not come near me. We have the blood of Jesus protecting us.
“A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you.” (Psalm 91:7)
What an assurance of safety, security, and peace for ourselves because we are in Jesus. Refuse to fear. Jesus is your salvation; that means no matter what happens, no matter the terror or evil created by the enemy, your safety is guaranteed because you are in Jesus.
Every time you turn on the news or see a headline or a statistic, let this be your mindset. Our safety is guaranteed because we are in Jesus as Jesus is Lord of our life. We take His Words, apply them to our life, and not allow the cares of this world to choke the Word.

Heavenly Father, I am so thankful Jesus is my Lord and Savior. You never leave me and as I dwell in You. I trust in You alone to lead and guide me. I will meditate on Your Words of wisdom, not walk in fear and allow the enemy to use it to choke Your Words and promises to me. Thank You for being my refuge. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
