POWER IN THE NAME OF JESUS.
Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,
You might be thinking, “Why are not the desires of my heart happening in my life?” You can ask for anything in the Name of Jesus, and He will do it to give His Father Glory. You can ask for anything. You can ask for everything. Anything and everything in the Name of Jesus and by faith belongs to you.
“Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth.” (Philippians 2:9-10)
How do you know that they are not? Are you struggling? Are you discontent? Are you unhappy, disappointed, and frustrated? There are days when we are all overcome by any or all of these emotions as well. Those are the very same times when we have forgotten the power in Jesus’ Name.
Anyone who believes in Jesus can have the same faith that Jesus did. Jesus said we could do greater things because He was going to the Father. Now the Living, Breathing Spirit of God lives inside of us. Now we know the Will of God and can do it with His Grace, Mercy, and Love.
We must have the same attitude that Jesus had. Though he was the Son of God, He did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, Jesus gave up his divine privileges; Jesus took the humble position of a human being. When He appeared in human form, He humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross.
Because of that, God elevated Him to the place of highest honor and gave Him the Name above all other names, that at the Name of Jesus every knee shall bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declares that Jesus is Lord.
Our expectations can connect us to the Lord or sever the relationship entirely. To have the Power and Authority associated with the Name of Jesus, we must put all of our expectations in Him. Otherwise, we will constantly be seeking His Face to do our will. This will not work. God will never lower His Standards to reach our level of faith. Instead, He will teach us in such a way that we raise our expectations to the Lord and raise our faith to His Level.
There is power in the Name of Jesus that will solve any problem and meet every need! Make it yours by faith and put all your hope in Jesus today! He will never disappoint you! He will always welcome you in! Stop calling on your problems and cry out to the Name above all other Names – Jesus!

Heavenly Father, I am so thankful for the precious name of Jesus. It is in His name, I come before You with my every need. As I study and meditate Your Word, I learn what to desire. You said You would meet these needs and desires as I trust only in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
