GOD’S INVESTMENT FUND
We will enjoy forever what we invest in heaven, and we invest in heaven every time we use the money for good.
“Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share,” (1 Timothy 6:18)
Any financial advisor will tell us not to put all our eggs in one basket. We put our money into different funds for a balanced portfolio.
God has given different “funds” that we can also invest in for eternity. These funds are proven. They have a track record. They are protected. They are ‘risk-free, and they yield enormous dividends.
Anytime we invest in something that is going to grow our character.
“The labor of the righteous leads to life, The wages of the wicked to sin.” (Proverbs 10:16)
When we use the money to develop our skills to help others, we are investing in eternity. We grow spiritually, intellectually, and emotionally.
Every time we use the money to encourage fellowship and build relationships with other Believers.
“distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.” (Romans 12:13)
Why does God want us to use some of our money to show love to others? Because it proves that we are in God’s family by creating unity, and it is a witness to unbelievers.
“There is one who scatters, yet increases more; And there is one who withholds more than is right, But it leads to poverty.” (Proverbs 11:24)
God is a giver. God is generous, and God wants us to become like Him. We do this by investing in our character, other believers, and people in need.

Heavenly Father, I will do good, that I may be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share. I will invest in Your kingdom. My labor will lead to life according to Your Word. This will help other believers to know You as I do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
