WE DO NOT HAVE TO FEAR
But you, go your way till the end; for you shall rest, and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days.
The Bible is not quiet about the end times and what will unfold on the earth shortly before Jesus’ return. Daniel is one of the prophets who recorded visions of what will happen when Jesus returns.
“But you, go your way till the end; for you shall rest, and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days.” (Daniel 12:13)
The promise in Daniel’s prophecy is that we who know Jesus, will be saved no matter what. We can live without fear because we were washed clean and made new the moment we asked Jesus into our hearts.
It does not matter if we read the prophecies in Daniel, Matthew, or Revelation, in the middle of the chaos, it is dispelled by a simple repeated truth: God is in control, and our ultimate victory through Jesus is guaranteed.
“Although I heard, I did not understand. Then I said, “My lord, what shall be the end of these things? ”” (Daniel 12:8)
Even though we now know how the story ends, most of us are left with more questions than answers. The curtain is pulled back enough, but not completely. There remains a thin veil that covers the exact details.
What is the tribulation? How does it affect us? How can we have peace of mind in the middle of so many unknowns? Daniel's assurance by the angel is our assurance as well.
“And he said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.” (Daniel 12:9-10)
We will not understand everything about the end times, and that is okay. We can take comfort, not from having all the answers, but from knowing that eternal life began when we made Jesus our Lord and Savior. We are His, and we will be with Jesus in the end.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
Now is the time to assess your relationship with Jesus. Do you know of Jesus? Then it is as simple as saying this prayer. "Jesus, I want You to be Lord of my life. Please forgive me for all my sins and help me start new today in You, Amen.”
Spend time and talk to God about your fears and allow Him to give you peace. The closer your relationship is with God, the more peace you will have in your life.

Heavenly Father, I shall not fear as my trust is in You. You alone can provide true peace in every situation I face today and in my tomorrow’s. I will not be anxious as my peace is in You. Your Word is the path I choose. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
