When we share our experiences about how God worked in our lives, it gives others hope.
“Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.” (1 Thessalonians 5:11)
When we are going through the same situation someone else is facing, we can reassure them that God will get them through it just like us. We can help them overcome their fears and move forward.
“Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus,” (Romans 15:5)
When we share our experiences with others, we help take away their fears. Hearing from someone who has gone through what we are currently facing is an inspiration. It motivates us.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7)
We can also help people break through barriers when we motivate them with our own experiences. We have experiences in our lives that could be inspirational and motivational to others, but only if we are willing to share them.
Do not waste any of your experiences. Use your experiences to encourage others and give them hope.
How can your experiences give others courage and hope?
Heavenly Father, I am so thankful for Your power and strength in my life. You have been my answer time and time again. I ask You to show me how I might help others when I share what You have lovingly done for me. You are my God, and I know You care. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
