WHY YOUR LIFE MATTERS
For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, Abba, Father.
When we realize that God adopted us into His family, we will spend time getting closer to God and thinking about how much He loves us.
For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, Abba, Father. Romans 8:15
God cares about every part of our life. Drawing closer to God in those difficult times helps us realize what truly matters is the first fact that God wanted us and wanted a relationship with us.
If you feel alone or sometimes question your worth, know that God loves you, and He wanted you to be His child and adopted you into His family.
That means that our lives are important. Even when we compare ourselves to our friends and feel like we come up short, God chose us and went out of His way to choose us. To Him, we are important!
just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, Ephesians 1:4
God loves us and chose us to be a part of His family. That means our life matters!
God has a plan for your life and has something special that He wants you to accomplish. You have been put in this World for a purpose, and God wants to use each of us to touch the lives of our friends and family with the good news of Jesus. Our lives matter because God has a plan for us to do that only we can do.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11
There are many challenges we allow ourselves to be lied to and think our life does not matter.
You are important, and God puts a value on your life beyond description and loves you more than you can ever comprehend. So when you begin to feel like you do not matter and want to give up, remind yourself that to God, you matter.
Have you thought about the fact that God chose you?
Heavenly Father, I am so very thankful You have a plan for my life, no matter my circumstances or my age. You still live in me, and You know what is best. As I seek You with all my heart, I know You hear me, and You will guide me. My times are in Your hands. As long as I am seeking You, I will not doubt my self-worth. If I can do something for You each day, I know I am blessed. Thank You, Father. In Jesus name, Amen.
