REMAIN IN JESUS
These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.
There will be days when joy feels out of reach. When stress, disappointments, or unexpected challenges try to steal it away.

The words from Jesus remind us that joy is not something we have to manufacture on our own. Jesus was not talking about the joy that comes and goes, He was talking about a deep, lasting joy that stays with us no matter what life throws our way.
This joy does not depend on good circumstances, perfect days, or everything going as we want. It comes from staying connected to Jesus.
Jesus taught about abiding in Him, like branches connected to a vine. When we remain in Him, through His Word, prayer, and trusting Him daily, His joy becomes ours. It is something Jesus gives when we stay close to Him.
When a battery stays charged, it is plugged into the power source. If it is disconnected for too long, the battery drains and eventually shuts down. The same happens with our joy when we drift away from Jesus, but when we remain in Him, His joy fills us up, giving us strength even in difficult times.
How do we stay connected? Read the Bible, talk to Jesus throughout the day, and remind yourself of His promises. When we do, the joy of the Lord will settle into our hearts, even when life is uncertain.
Jesus did not promise a life without problems, but He did promise that His joy can remain in you. Not just a little joy but a full, overflowing, abundant kind of joy. That is the kind of joy that carries you through the ups and downs of life, reminding you that you are never alone.
Heavenly Father, I am so thankful the Joy of the Lord is my strength. I will always thank You for Jesus and all that has been provided for me. I want others to see Your joy in me and the strength that joy gives. Thank You, Father God for such a precious sacrifice that was paid so I may spend eternity with You. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
