GOD BRINGS DELIVERANCE
Life can be challenging. No one is exempt from struggles, not even those who follow God with all their hearts.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all. Psalm 34:19
David does not sugarcoat reality, he acknowledges that difficulties will come, but he also gives a powerful promise: God brings deliverance.
Being righteous does not mean you will have a smooth, trouble-free life. It often means the opposite. Walking with God can bring challenges, opposition, and hardships, but it takes heart—those afflictions are not the end of your story. The faithfulness of God is greater than any struggle you will ever face.
Look at David; he knew what it was like to suffer. King Saul hunted him, was forced to hide in caves, and was betrayed by those close to him. Yet, he could confidently declare that the Lord delivers His people. Why? Because David had experienced it firsthand.
Deliverance does not always look the way we expect. Sometimes, God removes the problem immediately, but other times, He strengthens us. Either way, He is with us. He does not abandon His children in their pain; He walks them through it.
You may be facing something overwhelming right now. A health crisis, a broken relationship, financial struggles, or just the weight of life pressing in. It might feel like you will never see the other side of it, but this promise from God still stands. He is your deliverer. Keep trusting, praying, and holding onto Him.
The enemy wants you to believe that your struggles mean God has forgotten you, but that is a lie. If anything, they are proof that God is at work. He is shaping, strengthening, and preparing you for greater things.
You may have many challenges right now, but you also have a mighty, faithful, and loving God. And He will bring you through. Keep your eyes on Him, your deliverance is coming.
Heavenly Father, I am thankful I am Your child. I know You are always there in any circumstance to guide me and see me through. You are my deliverer. I will keep trusting, praying, and holding onto You. You are my ever present help in time of need. I am blessed! Thank You, Father God. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
