SETTING YOUR MIND ON HOPE
Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Peter tells us to get our minds ready for action. It is like tightening a belt around your waist, preparing for a walk.

Our lives are a walk of faith, and Peter urges us to be mentally prepared for the challenges and joy of following Jesus.
It is a call to be clear headed and alert. In the ups and downs of life, we need to stay spiritually alert, not allowing distractions or discouragements to sway us from our path.
For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance. Romans 8:24-25
Our destination is hope, a confident expectation of the good things God has promised us. Despite the difficulties we face, our hope is anchored in the faithfulness of God.
Set your mind on the hope we have in Jesus and focus on the promises of God, reminding yourself of the love, grace, and victory we have in Him.
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:23
Let your mind be determined, your heart hopeful, and your faith unwavering.

Heavenly Father, I will hold fast the confession of my hope without wavering, for You who promised is faithful. I will set my mind on the hope I have in Jesus and focus on the promises of You, reminding myself of the love, grace, and victory I have in You. I want my life to be more like You and ask for Your Holy Spirit to lead and guide me into all truth this day and my days to come. Thank You, Father. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
