AUDIO VERSION

Life can get so noisy. There is always something demanding your attention: bills to pay, deadlines to meet, people to care for, and decisions to make.

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33

It is easy to start chasing after what feels urgent instead of what is truly important. That is where we need to redirect our focus. Jesus is not saying the rest of life does not matter. He wants us to put Him first, and He will take care of the rest.

Seeking the kingdom of God is not only about reading your Bible or going to church, although those are definitely part of it. It is about setting your heart on the ways of God, His values, and His presence in every area of your life: work, relationships, thoughts, and time.

When we align ourselves with God and His righteousness, things start to fall into place, not always perfectly, but with peace.

It is a promise that when God is your priority, He becomes your provider, guide, and source of security. That deep sense of peace comes not from having all the answers but from trusting the One who does.

Today, take a breath. Before you rush into solving, fixing, or worrying, pause and invite God into the center. Ask Him what it looks like to seek His kingdom right where you are. It might mean choosing integrity at work, extending forgiveness, or simply starting your morning in prayer.

God knows what you need, even the things you have not said out loud. He is not asking you to figure everything out on your own. He is asking you to trust Him enough to put Him first.

When you do that, you will find that His peace, provision, and presence have a way of showing up exactly when you need them most.

Heavenly Father, I am so thankful I have learned to trust You in all I think, say, and do. The world can get noisy, but I must remember to ask for help of Your Holy Spirit to keep me focused on Your Word. Your Word is my provision and Your promises are for Your children. I seek You first and I will have the joy and peace in believing. Thank You, Father God. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
