AUDIO VERSION

Christmas is the season of joy and giving. In the middle of the decorations and gifts, the Bible reminds us of the Joy of being generous.

The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself. Proverbs 11:25

If you are the kind of person who is generous, you will find that life is generous to you. And the more you bless others, the more you will be blessed.

Imagine your heart as a spring of generosity, like a bubbling fountain ready to quench the thirst of those around you.

King Solomon paints a vivid picture: as you pour out kindness, love, and compassion, you become a source of refreshment to others.

It is not just about the act of giving but about the action behind it, a person who cares for others selflessly.

It is a reminder that the joy of Christmas is not just found in the presents under the tree but in the presence of love, kindness, and compassion in our hearts.

Think about the last time someone was generous to you and how it made a difference in your life, maybe a kind word, a helping hand, or a thoughtful gesture.

Those moments leave a lasting impact, and when you extend that same kind of generosity to others, you are making their lives better and opening the door to blessings in your own life.

As you navigate this holiday season, look for opportunities to be a source of joy and refreshment to those around you.

It can be as simple as taking the time to listen to someone, offering encouragement, or sharing your time with someone in need.

In these small acts of kindness, you will discover that you can not out give God. The more you give, the more you receive, and the richness of Christmas is found in the generosity of the heart.

Make your holiday season filled with the joy that comes from giving, and look for opportunities to share love, kindness, and compassion with others.

Heavenly Father, as I know You as Father, I ask You for the reminder in this season to be filled with the joy that comes from giving. Giving comes from the heart and is loving, kind, and compassionate with others. It is not so much the actual gift, but it is about the heart that love flows from. There is no other heart so loving and giving as You, Father God. Please live big in me today. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
