REAL LOVE
In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
Today is the day that the world shows its love for one another. Just as God showed His love for us by sending Jesus to the cross so that we will have eternal life.

As Believers in Jesus, we stand embracing His cross, as it is a vivid illustration of the Power of God.
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 1 Corinthians 1:18
It was essential for Jesus to pay for the sins of humanity:
The key word is propitiation, meaning payment. It was not enough for Jesus to die; Jesus had to pay a debt, our debt, for our sins, and the payment was necessary.
As much as God loves you, He does not tolerate sin. The only way He could embrace you, although you sin, was for someone else, someone perfect and holy, had to pay for it.
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, Romans 5:1
He paid for it to purchase the opportunity for our sins to be forgiven. You no longer have to carry your sin, and you can be forgiven. God laid all your sinfulness upon Jesus as He willingly suffered and died upon the cross.
The debt was paid, opening the door to your forgiveness.
To provide the way to eternal life. To have a gift, you must choose to receive it.
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23
The glory of the gospel is while we are the ones who need to be saved from sin, God is the one who saves us through His Son, Jesus.
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21
This is the love of God that He sent His Son into the world as payment for our sins.
There is no other provision for our forgiveness, and God has no other plan. The amazing thing is not that there is only one way to God; the amazing thing is that there is any way at all. This one way is through Jesus, who came into the world to offer us life.

The love of God is amazing, but only admiring it, respecting it, or acknowledging it is a long way from experiencing its benefits in your life, now and in eternity.
Do not just observe God from a distance; if you do, you can not be prepared to meet the Creator of the universe, God. Remember, God loves you, and embrace the ultimate expression of His love by receiving Jesus as your Savior.
You can be forgiven and washed clean. Jesus willingly laid down His life to restore your relationship with God. As the Father laid all the world's sinfulness upon His Son, Jesus suffered and died, offering forgiveness and eternal life to all who believe.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16
