WE ARE OVERCOMERS
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
From the first day we were born again, we became a new creation in Jesus free from the bondage of sin, and now we are no longer sinners but new creations in Jesus.
“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?” (1 John 5:4-5)
This means we are more than conquerors through Jesus and have overcome the world.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
We might face tribulations, persecutions, trials, and temptations, but in all these, through Jesus, we are more than conquerors.
Jesus gave us victory over all life challenges when He died on the cross, was buried, and raised from the dead.
“and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,” (1 Corinthians 15:4)
That same Holy Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead is the same Holy Spirit that God has given us to give us victory after victory in any challenge we might be facing today.
Through the power of Jesus, God has given us victory over sickness, diseases, poverty, and the enemy. All we need to do is have faith in God through Jesus.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Faith is accepting what God says through His Word and acting upon it, then giving all our problems to God.
Our hope and faith are in God, no matter what we may be going through at the moment. For our faith to work, we must stop making excuses concerning what God says to us in His Word and start experiencing the victory that He has given us in our life.

Heavenly Father, I submit myself to You and Your leading. I accept what You say in Your Word. I might face tribulations, persecutions, trials, and temptations, but in all these, through Jesus, I am more than a conqueror. I have the Victory in Jesus. I will listen and act upon Your Word. In this, I am an overcomer this day and with joy and peace in believing. Thank You, Father. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
