GOD’S WORD CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE
It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.
God’s words are powerful, and they can change our lives. The Bible is awesome Truth that does have the power to change our attitudes, actions, desires, and lives.
“It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” (John 6:63)
Today’s Bible verse shows us how powerful God’s words are. They are life, showing us that God’s words have power. If we allow them access, God’s words can change our hearts, thoughts, actions, and lives.
There should be a set time each day that we take to spend time in God’s Word. It may be at night before bed, and it could be in the early morning when we wake up or during the day when we are eating lunch. Find a time that you can be consistent about getting into God’s Word.
“O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water.” (Psalms 63:1)
David spent time every morning with God, and he had a set time that he spent with God. Getting into God’s Word works best when we have a set time each day we spend in God’s Word.
When we spend time each day in God’s Word, we will find that our thoughts, actions, and desires line up with His. God’s Word does have the power to change your life!
How has God’s Word changed your life?
Heavenly Father, Your Word I have hidden in my heart, so I do not sin. Your Words of Truth are forever, and I know Your Word has the power to change my course of life. Your Holy Spirit will work within me, as You know my every thought. I will be pliable, walking in Your Truth and setting a time each day to learn more about You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
