FAITH EMPOWERS US
By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
When was the last time we needed some extra energy? Maybe we stayed up all night doing a project. The next day, we struggled to stay awake because we did not sleep a lot the night before. When we are sleepy, we need an energy boost. It is easy to drink a big cup of coffee, large soda, or an energy drink to empower us to make it through the day.
“By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.” (Hebrews 11:3)
Spiritually, we need empowerment as well. Today’s Bible verse shows us that the role of faith is to empower us.
Faith is what empowers us to know that God created the universe. It takes dedication to believe that God was responsible for our world and that He created it with His words.
Faith can be empowerment in our lives too. Maybe we face something really tough, and faith can help us get through tough times. Faith empowers us to believe that God has a plan for our lives and that we will know what to do and when the time is right.
Faith is empowerment in our lives. Today, do not overlook the power of faith, and it is there to empower us when we need it the most.
Heavenly Father, my consistent trust and faith in believing Your Word will give me the strength I need each day. Your Words are life, and as I take Your Words to live by, I will have Your life living in me, showing You to the world around me. I will be filled with joy and peace as I believe You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
