CHOICES ARE IMPORTANT.
There are many plans in a man’s heart, Nevertheless the Lord’s counsel—that will stand.
The things we choose today set us up for success or failure in the future. Take a moment to think about which things we are choosing today.
“There are many plans in a man’s heart, Nevertheless the Lord’s counsel—that will stand.” (Proverbs 19:21)
They impact our future and what we will ultimately do for God.
Think about all the plans we have come up with at different points in our lives; we were like, we are going to do this, we are going to do that. Like the plans of our mind come and go.
They change, and we think about some plans we have made that we thought were the best thing.
We wished If only this could happen, and then it did happen, and we realized that was not the best thing in the world, and that was not helpful at all.
Our plans created by ourselves without God’s Word are often foolish. We often make foolish plans because we do not have all knowledge; we do not have all perspective. We make plans; we do not realize how it will affect this person or that person.
It is good to know that it is only the purpose of God that will stand. Submit our plans to God’s purpose.
We make plans for our lives that we do not realize where it is going to lead. So, in the end, we made some foolish plans. It is good to know that it is the purpose of God that will stand.
God’s purpose does not fail; God has all knowledge and has never done or will do anything foolish. We need to pray and submit our plans to God’s purpose.
We can make our plans; we can choose our paths, and God gives us the freedom to do that. But, when we decide to follow God, follow God’s plan and purpose for our lives, we experience a life of meaning and purpose.
God is the one who knows what will fulfill us. Ask God for His help when we are faced with a choice. We Will be glad we did,

Heavenly Father, as I pray and ask You to lead me each day in the way I might choose and the plans I may make, I will then be able to rest. If I start to make a decision without consulting You, Father, please bring this to my remembrance. I know Your leading will always be the best. Thank You for leading me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
