FEAR NOT; GOD WILL HELP YOU
For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’
Fear is universal, and it affects every person in every language and living in every country. All of us deal with issues that scare us. How should we respond to today's Bible verse, "Fear not I will help you?"
"For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you, 'Fear not, I will help you." (Isaiah 41:13)
Can we honestly take to heart today's Bible verse and experience freedom because of God's presence? What does today's Bible verse mean?
We can not deal with anything we do not acknowledge. We need to take the time to be honest with ourselves and face those fears with God’s Word.
Some of us may be worrying about our children (young or grown) in today's new dangerous world or worrying about people getting attacked or a loved one who is sick. Some wonder how they are going to live when a family member has died.
“Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’” (Isaiah 41:10)
We can be fearful about our lives or our finances. We can worry about a lot of things, big and small. Yet, God knew we would struggle with fear.
God made sure He wrote about it often in the Bible to us.
What is your biggest fear?
Heavenly Father, I will not let fear dominate me as I have You and Your Words within me. You knew I would face fear, but You also gave me the comfort I need in Your Word. You said to fear not for You are with me, be not dismayed, for You are my God. You will strengthen me and help me and uphold me with Your righteous right hand. I have complete love in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
