ASKING GOD FOR WISDOM
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
Asking God for wisdom seems so easy to do, but so often we do not think to ask God for His wisdom.
“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.” (James 1:5-6)
Every day we are faced with many different situations that require God's wisdom to show us what to do, but a lot of times, we do not ask, or we ask with uncertainty. We must ask in faith, not with hesitation, and God will answer.
“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” (James 1:5)
The Bible tells us that when we ask God, He will give us His wisdom. God does not hold back. God wants us to have His wisdom. We need to pray every day for God to give us His wisdom, so when we are faced with any difficult situation throughout the day, we will know exactly how to handle them.
“For the LORD gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding;” (Proverbs 2:6)
You might be faced with a decision today that you do not feel you can make. In fact, you might be wondering if there is any way forward.
“For whoever finds me finds life, And obtains favor from the LORD;” (Proverbs 8:35)
Even in the most difficult times, we can pray and ask God for wisdom. Reach out to God and ask Him for help in the decisions you have to make today. Trust Him that He will give you the wisdom you need.
Do not worry about everything making sense; just go with faith and do what God has told you to do.

Heavenly Father, I give You thanks for this promise from You that If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. I ask You for wisdom in my decisions for today. I want to walk each day with Your wisdom leading me, as only then will I know I have the right choice and path to take each day. I was made in Your image, I have You living in me, Your Holy Spirit is my guide; so the most important thing to do each day is call upon You for Your wisdom and then act upon it in faith and trust believing You. What joy and peace there is in trusting You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
