FAITH IN THE MIDDLE OF FEAR
Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.
Fear can catch us off guard, sometimes showing up through an unexpected phone call, a tough decision, financial worries, or concern for someone we care about.

Sometimes fear slips in quietly, filling our minds with questions about things we can not control. Other times, it can feel overwhelming, making it hard to see past what is right in front of us.
David gives us a simple but powerful response to those moments: “When I am afraid, I will trust in You.”
Notice that David didn’t say he would never feel afraid. He recognized his fear and chose to trust God right in the middle of it. This matters, because faith does not mean pretending everything is okay. Faith invites us to bring our worries honestly to God and lean on Him, even when we do not know how things will turn out.
Trusting God does not mean all our problems vanish right away. The hard conversation might still need to happen. The bills may still be there. The medical results might still be unknown, but putting our confidence in God means fear does not have to control what we do or how we see things.
God knows exactly what tomorrow holds, even when we can not see past today. He understands the worries we can not always put into words and the burdens we quietly carry. Nothing about our situation surprises Him, and nothing is too big for Him to help us through.
When anxious thoughts start to take over, come back to this Bible verse. Say it out loud and let it become a prayer. Remind yourself that the God who brought you through before is still faithful today.
You do not have to figure out every detail before you trust God. You can take the next step, knowing He is right there with you.
Fear might still knock on the door of your heart, but you do not have to let it stay. Keep choosing to trust God, again and again. His faithfulness is bigger than any uncertainty ahead.
Heavenly Father, when fear fills my heart, help me choose trust over worry. Remind me that You are always near and that my future rests in Your hands. Give me courage for today, peace in uncertainty, and faith to follow You wherever You lead. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
