GIFT OF GOD

Just like when you work a job and receive wages for your labor, sin pays its own wage: death. The good news is that God offers us a remarkable gift through Jesus: eternal life.
When we sin, we are heading down a path that leads to death. It might not always be physical death, but it is a separation from God, the source of life and goodness. Paul shows us that sin is not just a little mistake but a serious matter with severe consequences.
Paul also highlights the incredible gift God gives us, eternal life through Jesus. This gift is not something we earn or deserve; it is given out of the love and grace God has for us. It is like receiving a gift that we could never afford on our own.
Today, we invite you to reflect on your choices. Are you living in a way that leads to death, or are you embracing the gift of eternal life through Jesus?
It is a choice you have to make every day to either follow your desires and sin or to surrender to God and receive His gift of eternal life.
As you go about your day, remember the significance of your choices. Choose to turn away from sin and embrace the life God offers through Jesus. It is not about earning your way to heaven; it is about accepting the gift that God has already given you.
Maybe you have been making bad choices and need to get right with God, or you want to thank Him for His gift of eternal life.
Take a moment and repeat this prayer,
Heavenly Father, I admit that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus died for my sins and rose again. Please come into my life, forgive me, and help me to follow You. Thank You for Your love and grace, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
Ask God to help you live in a way that honors Him and reflects the new life He offers because eternal life is far greater than anything sin could ever offer.
Heavenly Father, I boldly ask for Your lead in this life as I pursue my commitment to You. I desire to walk and please You in all I say and in all I do. Your Holy Spirit within is the still small voice I will listen to as I go about my day. I will read Your Word and hide Your Word in my heart so I do not sin against You. Thank You, Father God. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
