AUDIO VERSION

The love of God is the driving force behind His mercy, which is not based on our worthiness but on His infinite capacity to love.

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ by grace you have been saved, Ephesians 2:4-5

Paul reminds us that God is rich in mercy, and His mercy is abundant beyond what we can comprehend. It is not just a little bit of mercy, a richness that knows no end.

Despite our faults and failures, the mercy of God is overflowing. He does not turn away when we stumble or fall. Instead, He reaches out with a heart full of love.

When we were at our lowest, trapped in our wrongdoings, that is when God intervened. He did not wait for us to clean up our act or earn His favor.

Through Jesus, we experience true life, a spiritual life that transcends our past mistakes and failures.

We did not earn salvation; it was a gift freely given by God, and we receive it with gratitude.

The mercy of God rescues us from the consequences of our sins, and His love breathes life into us. We do not have to remain stuck in our past mistakes. God offers us a new beginning, a life alive with Jesus.

Take a moment today to think about the mercy and love of God in your own life. Where have you seen His mercy at work? How has His love transformed your heart?

Heavenly Father, we surrender our hearts to You, and ask that You continue to transform us into vessels of Your mercy and love. Let our lives be a testimony to your goodness and grace to others. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
